Erigeron neglectus (Neglected Fleabane)

Dark red stem and dark red & woolly bracts, glabrous surface to leaves, and ring of filiform female flowers are features of E. neglectus. Similar to E. uniflorus which lacks the ring and usually has white not purple flowers.
